TEACHER LAB:
GUIDING WITH CONFIDENCE

Cultivate a Teaching Practice Rooted in Authenticity, Presence, and Care

MAY 9–MAY 18
2-WEEK GROUP MENTORSHIP
FRIDAY thru SUNDAY

Teacher Lab: Guiding with Confidence is a practice-based mentorship and continuing education for yoga teachers and movement facilitators ready to refine their offering, deepen their confidence, and show up with more clarity and ease. It bridges the gap between training and teaching—the space where knowledge becomes skill, instinct becomes trust, and teaching feels more natural and grounded.

This isn’t about following a formula or learning the “right” way to teach. It’s about honing what’s already in you—your instincts, your voice, your way of leading—so you can guide a room with more impact and less second-guessing. Through hands-on practice, peer support, mentorship, and actionable feedback, you’ll refine your skills, strengthen your ability to hold space, and teach in a way that feels both structured and intuitive.

This is where it all comes together. This is how you get curious in your role as a teacher—how you explore, refine, and step in with more presence. And when you get curious, when you get uncomfortable, you grow. And that’s just a really good place to be.

  • I’ve been teaching yoga and other forms of movement for 11 years, with experience in studios, corporate settings, private sessions, and online classes. I’ve guided students through vinyasa, power, HIIT, yin, restorative, mega-reformer, and other modalities. No matter the format, each of these experiences has refined my approach and deepened my understanding of movement as a way to connect and grow.

Teaching has been my truest practice, and I feel both the incredible responsibility and joy of being a facilitator of well-being. I’ve trained extensively in a variety of styles and modalities, which has shaped my holistic approach to teaching. For me, it’s all about creating nurturing, supportive spaces where students can truly feel seen and cared for.

  • This Program Is:

    • The space between training and teaching.

    • An intensive of real, constructive feedback.

    • Fluid—designed around your background and the areas where you want to grow.

    • A chance to gain hands-on experience in a supportive environment.

    • A place to build confidence in leading a room and holding space with clarity and care.

    This Program Is Not:

    • A deep dive into yoga philosophy.

    • Strictly about technical refinement.

    • A training on how to teach—it’s about refining the way you already do.

    This Program Is For:

    • Teachers open to growth, feedback, and honest communication.

    • Anyone coming out of teacher training who is curious about continuing.

    • Those looking to gain experience teaching in a studio environment.

    • Teachers in the early years of their journey (1-3 years) who want to go deeper.

    This Program Is Not For:

    • Anyone who has not completed a full training (200hr yoga or another complete certification).

    • Students curious about teaching but not yet trained.

    • Experienced teachers looking for advanced refinement (though if you really want feedback, you’re welcome—just know another program for you is on the way!)

It’s not about the what—it’s all about the HOW. How you show up as your full self, present and connected to what you share, whether with one person or a group, in a studio or the park. Teaching becomes more than a role—it’s a craft, a place to connect, and an opportunity for play, curiosity, and joy.

Teaching is a journey we navigate through experience, but it can feel uncertain without guidance. This program offers a space to explore, practice, and refine your approach, with real-time feedback to help you teach with confidence and greater impact.

WHERE WE’LL FOCUS…

ALL THE QUESTIONS…

What if I can’t attend a live session?
Live participation is a big part of this experience, but if you need to miss a session or two, you’ll still get the benefit. That said, the real value of this program comes from teaching in real time and receiving direct feedback, so we encourage full attendance.

Is this program refundable?
No, this program is non-refundable. If you have any questions before applying, reach out— we’re happy to help you decide if it’s a right fit.

How do I know if this course is right for me?
This program is for yoga teachers and other wellness (meditation, sound) or mat-based movement (pilates, hiit, sculpt, barre) instructors who want to refine how they teach and guide. You’ll likely benefit if:

  • You’ve completed your foundational training and are ready to move beyond the basics.

  • You’re actively teaching but want to deepen your confidence, enhance your offering, or strengthen your presence.

  • You want to feel more at ease in your teaching and leading groups—to trust your voice, read the room, and create classes that truly connect.

  • You’ve been teaching outside of a studio, but want experience holding space within a studio environment.

How much time should I expect to commit each week?
This program is designed to be immersive but manageable. Expect to spend about 15 hours per week between live sessions, teaching practice, and mentorship. The more you put in, the more you’ll get out of it.

Do I need to be actively teaching to join?
Not necessarily. If you’ve completed your foundational training and want to refine your teaching before stepping into more classes, this space will support you. It’s the perfect place for folks who find themselves in the “in-between”. If you are actively teaching, this is a great way to sharpen your skills in real time.

What makes this different from other teacher trainings?
This isn’t about learning new techniques and information—it’s about applying what you already know, teaching immersion for experience, and getting direct feedback to refine your craft. You’ll practice and leave with tools you can implement immediately.

Will I receive a certification?
This is a mentorship and practicum, not a certification course. The goal isn’t to meet external requirements—it’s to help you refine your skills as a space holder.

What kind of feedback will I receive?
Expect honest, thoughtful, and supportive feedback from both peers and mentors. This isn’t about critique—it’s about refining what’s already there and helping you teach in a way that feels like you. There’s no single “right” way to guide a room, and everything here is subjective—you’re encouraged to take what resonates and leave what doesn’t. Early on, we’ll get to know your goals so feedback is tailored to the areas where you’re seeking growth.

What happens after I apply?
We’ll be in touch! You’ll receive an email with payment details. Once paid, you’ll get everything you need to know about the program, including schedules, next steps, and how to prepare.

Are scholarships available?
Yes! We offer partial scholarships for teachers who are deeply committed to refining their skills, expanding their confidence, and cultivating their unique voice—but may face financial barriers to continuing education. If this resonates with you, send us a message
here to apply.

Who can I contact if I have more questions?
Send any questions (or just thoughts you’re mulling over) to Jasmine at jasmine@practiceform.com. Happy to chat, always.
